Donald D Gugelman

Donald Gugelman age 82, of Stockville, Ne died at the McCook Community Hospital on Sunday, October 14, 2012. He was born on the family farm in Frontier County near Stockville, NE to Gotlieb and Vila (Swartz) Gugelman.

Don served his country from 1951 to 1953 in the US Army. On May 24, 1954, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Woodring in Stockville, NE. The couple made their home on a farm 3 miles east of Stockville. Don farmed all his life. He was a member of the School Board in both Stockville and later Maywood after the consolidation of the schools. He was the president of the Arbor Cemetery Board in Stockville. Don enjoyed fishing, boating and pistol shooting.

Inurnment is tentatively planned for Thursday at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell at 10:30 AM. A Celebration Memorial service is planned at the Stockville Community Center for 1:30 PM, Thursday, October 18, 2012.
