Deborah Ann Klein

Deborah "Deb" Ann Klein, age 59, passed away at the Aurora Medical Center in Aurora CO on January 22, 2022. She was born in McCook on January 26, 1962 to Donald and Norma Reiners Klein. Deb graduated from McCook High School and then attended McCook Community College on an Art Scholarship earning an Associate Degree. On June 7, 1997, Deb married Donny Reis and to this union one son Zachary was born. Zach was the pride and joy of Deb's life. Along with being very active in her son's life, Deb also worked for Klein's Motor & Electric until the business closed in 2018 and Midwest Livestock Commission. Deb went to work for Tri State Livestock after Klein's closed and worked the sales as the internet clerk and checked in cattle which she really enjoyed. She also worked at D & D Cattle helping on the farm and with the cattle. Deb was an outstanding artist and used her talents to design logos for local businesses. She enjoyed gardening along with watching wildlife, especially the cardinals. One of her favorite places to visit was Estes Park, CO where she did have a close encounter with a bear that was memorable. Deb was preceded in death by Zachary's dad Donny Reis, paternal grandparents: Ben and Olga Klein and maternal grandparents: Ed and Caroline Reiners. Deb is survived by her son: Zachary of McCook; parents: Don and Norma Klein of McCook; 3 sisters: Pam Klein of Denver, CO; Sonya Prentice of McCook: and Tracey (Marshell) Sis of McCook along with numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church/Ash Creek with Pastor Justin Hildebrand officiating. Inurnment will be in the Ash Creek Cemetery.
