David Allen Vigneur

March 21, 1965 — February 24, 2017

David Allen Vigneur, of McCook, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha. He was 51 years old. David was born on March 21, 1965 at Denver, Colorado to parents, Michael Richard and Lois May (Strickland) Vigneur. He attended school at Adams City High School and graduated with the class of 1984. On June 2, 1984 he was united in marriage to Kerri Lou Ulrich in Denver. To this union three sons were born. They made their home in Denver until 1998 when they moved to the McCook community. David loved to tinker with cars and scrap metal. He enjoyed riding around, yard work, and fishing. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandsons and following all of their activities. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Lois Vigneur. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Kerri Vigneur of McCook; sons, David Andrew Vigneur and wife, Lindsay, Steven Vigneur, and Zachary Vigneur all of McCook; brothers, James Vigneur and wife, Diane, of Denver and Nicholas Vigneur and wife, Erica, presently stationed in South Carolina; sisters, Debra and husband, Thomas Sell, Jennifer McQuistan all of McCook, Sarah Rocha of Denver, and Abigail Vigneur of McCook; three grandsons, Aaron, Alec, and Aysen Vigneur all of McCook; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends. Memorials may be given in his name. Friends may send words of condolences to the family at www.herrmannfh.com Memorial services will be Saturday, March 4, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook with Pastor Jon Albrecht officiating. A private family inurnment will be at a later time. Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel of McCook is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial Service
