David Houstan Noe

David H. Noe age 76, of McCook, passed away at his home on January 9, 2016. He was born in Basin, WY on June 7, 1940 to David A. and Kathleen (Richards) Noe. The family moved often with his father's employment, David finished school in Denver, Co. He joined the US Army and served his country till June 1962 when he was Honorably Discharged. David worked in the Denver area. he met and married Connie Jones on May 21, 1966 in Denver, CO. The couple lived in Denver until they moved to Trenton and in 1988 they moved to McCook. David worked for the Kugler Company for over 20 years in the fertilizer department. David loved sports. He tried out as a pitcher for the Denver Bear's Semi-pro Baseball team. He loved to watch all sports especially football, baseball. He was an avid fisherman. He and Connie would go the Rocky Mountains at least once a year. David was a volunteer bell ringer for the Salvation Army, taking great pride helping those in need. He was a member of the West First Street Church. He loved to be around family. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Penny Noe and a grandson: Andy Conley. David is survived by his wife Connie 2 daughters: Leah McGehee; Callie and husband Mark Conley all of McCook; son David A. and wife Tami Noe of Gibbon; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 sister: Mary Lee and husband Walter Myskiw of Sydney, NE Funeral services will be held at the West First Chapel in McCook on January 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Johnny Walker and Reverend Steve Bales officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery of McCook. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel from 10:00 AM till 7:00 PM.
