David Gregory Denton

David Gregory Denton age 48 of Wilsonville, NE died at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on April 26, 2013. He was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The family moved to Pekin, IL where David grew-up.

David moved to Wilsonville, Nebraska in 1985. He met and married "Tootie" Kruger and they made their home in Wilsonville. David worked construction and general contracting as a carpenter. He enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, trapper and hunter. He was the Assistant-Chief of the Wilsonville Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Zoo Crew.

David was preceded in death by his parents a step-daughter: Tammy Sue Hobbs and a son: Sean Michael Denton.

He is survived by his wife Tootie of Wilsonville; 2 sons: Chris of Lincoln, NE; David H. and wife Kimberly of Cambridge, NE: 2 step-sons: James and wife Jessica Hobbs of Cambridge and Albert Hobbs of Ovid, CO: brother: Charles Cobb Jr. of Pekin, IL; 2 sisters: Susie Cyphus of FL; Juanita Cobb of TX.

Graveside Inurnment and Gathering will take place at the Wilsonville Cemetery on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Memorials maybe left in Davids name at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge. Friends may leave on-line condolences at lockenour.com
