Daniel Lee Trehal

Daniel Lee Trehal age 35, of McCook died at his home on august 3, 2013. He was born in McCook, NE on March 1, 1978 to Michael and Linda (Hiatt) Trehal. Daniel attended school in McCook and Vermillion, SD. Dan was self-employed contractor, doing mostly carpet and tile work in the area for many of the carpet stores throughout southwest Nebraska. He was a Good Samaritan looking for ways to help other people. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing. Dan enjoyed family and friends just spending time together. He was known for his cooking ability, especially with his smoker with turkey and his green chilly recipes. Dan was preceded by his grandparents. Dan is survived by his 2 sons: Tyler Gray and Dylen Trehal of McCook; mother: Linda Trehal; father: Mike and wife Sue Trehal of Corpus Christi, TX; sister: Naomi Trehal of Corpus Christi, TX; brother: Nathan Trehal of McCook. Memorial Services will be held for 10:30 AM Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. In Lieu of Flowers a memorial may be left in Dans name for an Educational Fund for his 2 sons at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel. Friends may leave on-line condolences at herrmannfh.com
