Charles Marshall Traxler of McCook passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at Community Hospital. He was 84 years old. Charles was born on March 2, 1931 in McCook to parents, Marshall G. and Louise Elizabeth (Cole) Traxler. Charlie was active in Special Olympics where he participated in track and bowling. He enjoyed going to coffee with his friends at Arbys, spending time at the Senior Center, shopping especially for clothes, collecting hats, and playing Bingo. He had a love for all kinds of music and attended the community concerts regularly. Charlie was active in the Swatters 4-H Club where he earned many ribbons at the county fair. He loved taking trips to Barnett Park to see all of the geese and ducks. Preceding him in death were his parents, Marshall and Louise Traxler. He will sadly be missed by all of his family and friends at Southwest Area Training Services, his Arbys coffee buddies, his Senior Center Friends, his McCook Christian Church family and the community. Memorials may be given in his name.
