Charlene Ann Titman

Charlene Ann Titman, age 67, of McCook passed away at Great Plains Health, in North Platte, Nebraska on November 2, 2020. She was born in McCook, Nebraska on November 22, 1952 to Glenn and Rita Rose (Kohmetscher) Titman. She attended school in Indianola, Nebraska later attaining her GED. She made her home in Cambridge, Arapahoe, and Indianola, Nebraska before retiring in McCook. Charlene was a proud mother, raising her three daughters in Southwest Nebraska. Charlene continued her education, becoming a Certified Nurses Assistant. She was employed Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook, Good Samaritan Society in Arapahoe, and the Cambridge Manor as a CNA. Charlene had a free spirit who enjoyed laughing with others and was not afraid to ask or say what was on her mind. She enjoyed playing cards with her kids, grandkids, and extended family of nephews and nieces. She loved her gardening and flowers. Charlene was family oriented, following her many grandchildrens events. She was also the family historian, keeping track of all the families and passing important events along with information to all. Charlene was a member of the St. Patricks Catholic Church and the Alter Society, and had a devotion to the Holy Rosary. She was preceded in death by her parents: Glenn and Rita; two brothers, Raymond "Joe" Titman and Thomas Titman; sister, Barbara Lepper; and nephew, Donald Lepper. Charlene is survived by her three daughters: Misty (Larry) Vickers of Wiggins, CO; Cristine (Thomas) Courter of North Platte, NE; and Michelle (Rashard) King of North Platte, NE; nine grandchildren; sister, Cecilia Koch of McCook; brother, Jay (Theresa) Titman of Damascus, WV; and sister-in-law, Judy Titman of Lincoln, NE. Visitation will be held at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCook on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10:00 am with Fr. Brian Wirth officiating. Burial will be in the St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery of Indianola. Memorials may be left in Charlene's name to the St. Patrick's Catholic Church of McCook.
