Charlene Cheryl Foster

Charlene Cheryl Foster age 62, of Cambridge died at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 26, 2012. She was born in McCook, NE on August 26, 1949 to Clarence and Pauline (Lamb) Shatto. Charlene attended and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1967. Charlene was united in marriage to John Foster in 1972. They raised three children: Thomas, Linnea and Tristan. Charlene worked for the Gambles Store, the Cambridge Locker and for 20 years at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital as a housekeeper and supervisor. Charlene became a care taker in their home for her husband when he became sick. Charlene enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. Charlene was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Charlene is survived by her husband: John of Cambridge: daughter: Linnea and husband Travis John of Gering; 2 sons: Thomas of Winston-Salem, NC; Tristan of Kearney, NE; 3 grandchildren: Raegan, Foster and Jaxie; brother: Paul an wife Pat Shatto of Bushnell, FL. Funeral service will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Cambridge on Saturday. March 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Sherry Sklenar officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge. Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM till 7:00 PM Memorial may be left in her name to the Cambridge Senior Center.
