Brian Edward Cochran

Brian E. Cochran, age 37, of Bruce, SD died at a result of a motor vehicle accident on October 11, 2014. He was born in Cambridge on December 2, 1976 to Edward and Donna K. (Hansen) Cochran. Brian grew up in Bartley attending school and graduating from Bartley High School in 1995. He joined the US Air Force after graduation. Upon his discharge he attended McCook Community College for a short time.

Brian was employed by several local business before attending the Iowa Lakes Community College where he receive a degree in Wind Turban Technology. He was currently employed by the Valero Renewable Energy facility in Brookings, SD.

Brian enjoyed spending time with his two sons: Logan and Skyler. He liked to hunt goose and deer and fish especially walleye.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ernest Cochran.

Brian is survived by his 2 sons: Logan of Brookings, SD; Skylar of Bruce, SD; fianc: Bonnie Bilstein of Bruce, SD; parents: Donna and husband Dan Chambers; Ed and wife Terri Cochran all of Bartley, NE; brother: Dale and wife Ann Catherine of Springfield, VA; sister: Marissa Chambers of Bartley; grand parents: Marie Cochran and Lyle and Patricia Hansen all of Bartley, NE along with many aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge with interment in the Bartley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 9:00 am till 7:00 pm. Friends may leave on-line condolences at lockenour.com. A memorial has been established for the welfare and education of his two sons; Skyler and Logan.
