Bradley Paul Walter, age 47, of McCook, NE passed away at the McCook Community Hospital on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. He was born in St. Francis, KS on April 17, 1972 to Richard and Penney (Real) Walter. Brad attended school in Stratton graduating from Stratton High School in 1990. He continued his education for one year at Peru State College and University of Nebraska at Kearney. On July 31, 1991 Brad was united in marriage to Laura Langdon in Estes Park, Colorado at the United Methodist Church. The couple returned to Nebraska where Brad worked for Parde Electric as an apprentice and later for Frenchman Valley Coop as the Operations Manager and Agronomist. Brad enjoyed farming and raising cattle on the family farm. Brad enjoyed hunting Mule deer, as it was a family ritual with his dad and sons, Jarett and Cole. He also hunted quail and pheasants. He could be seen watching baseball, softball, and football along with many other events that his children participated in. Brad raised Angus and Simmental cattle and was busy starting to calve his first-year heifers. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Brad is survived by his loving wife, Laura; his children, Jarett, Kennedy and Cole all of McCook; parents, Richard and Penney Walter of Stratton, NE and a sister, Trina and husband Shawn Winters of McCook, NE; along with nieces nephews and a host of friends.
