Arvene Eldon Frick age 81, died at the El Dorado Manor in Trenton on June 6, 2014. He was born near Atwood, KS on August 3, 1932 to Roy Charles and (Viola Faye (Owens) Frick. He graduated from Trenton High school on 1950 and married his high school sweetheart Jacquelyn Ann Taylor on February 26, 1953 in Omaha, NE. He served his country in the US Army from 1953 till 1955 in the European Theatre. Arvene and Jackie moved to Seattle, WA in 1960, where he worked as an engineer fro Boeing for over 35 years. His vision and talent helped turn raw science into aviation history. In retirement Arvene enjoyed wood working, camping, home improvement projects and maintaining his immaculate yard. The couple moved back to McCook, NE in 2008 and he re-joined his beloved wife in May 2014 at the El Dorado Manor in Trenton. He was preceded in death by his father Roy; sister: Evelyn Lorentz. Arvene is survived by his wife of 61 years Jackie of Trenton; his daughter: Gwen and husband John Taylor and son Larry Frick all of Culdesac, Idaho; mother: Viola Frick of McCook, NE; brothers: Vernon and wife sue Frick; Laverne and wife Sharon Frick; brother in-law Clarence Lorentz all of Herndon, KS; sister; Denise and Jerry Holbrook of Crossville, TN; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. He leaves a legacy of 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren to carry his hopes and dreams into the future. The family is being cared for by the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel of McCook, NE. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial services and inurnment will be in the Trenton Cemetery as a t date to be determined. Memorials may be left in Arvenes name to either Alzheimer research or a charity of choice.
