Anna Marie Walker

Anna Marie Walker age 48 of Palisade died at the Community Hospital in McCook on September 24, 2013 after a seven year battle with cancer.. She was born in Denver, CO on May 10, 1965 to William and Louise (Friese) Keenan. Anaa returned to Palisade year and half ago to be close to family. She had lived most her life in California. She enjoyed gardening and animals, especially dogs. She was preceded in death by her father. Anna is survived by 3 daughters: Katherine and husband Louie Martinez of Bakersfield, CA; Christy Walker of Bakersfield, CA; Elizabeth Walker of Las Vegas, NV; mother: Louise of Palisade, NE; 3 sisters: Judy and Bill Merritt of Moose Pass, Alaska; Chrystene and husband Shawn Cole of Palisade, NE; Tina and James Lund Keenan of Palisade; 2 sons: Michael Keenan of Palisade; Patrick Keenan of Omaha; 5 grandchildren. Memorial services are set for 2:00 PM on October 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook, NE. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
