Ann Marie Brown

Ann Marie Brown (45) passed away at Kearney Good Samaritan Hospital on September 21, 2016. She was born on February 1, 1971 in Scottsbluff Nebraska and grew up in McCook Nebraska. Ann graduated from McCook High School in 1989 and married Matthew Brown of Culbertson, Nebraska on July 8, 1989. They had three children, Randy, Angela and Ryan. Between 1989 and 1993 Ann moved with Matt to Colorado Springs, Colorado during his service in the United States Army and they returned to the Culbertson and McCook area in 1993. In 1993, Ann began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for Nursing Homes and Assisted Living residents in McCook and surrounding areas until she passed away on September 21, 2016. Ann was an amazing woman who put much pride into being a nurse. She always put others before herself. She cherished her granddaughter and spent much of her spare time with her doing arts and crafts and taking long walks in search of turkey feathers. We couldnt ask for a more perfect Wife, Mother and Grand Mother. Ann loved gardening and capturing the beauty of nature. She was up for doing anything, whether it was bicycling, tubing down the river or hunting and fishing with her husband Matt. Wherever she went she brought laughter, love and compassion to those lucky enough to have met her. Ann was very blessed to have been loved by seven parents, her children and extended family. Ann is survived by her husband Matt Brown of McCook, her children: Randy Brown, wife Melanie and granddaughter Riley Ann Brown of McCook, Angela Brown of McCook and Ryan Brown of McCook. Parents: Ron Fritz, Carol Lashley, Zona Fritz, Art Lashley, Cecilia Swain, Lyle Bell, Lavonna Bell. Siblings: Michael (Shelley) Fritz of Globe, Arizona, Heather (Matt) Knea, Suzy (Matt) Falkingburg, Nicole Hollers, James J. VonLoh, Matthew Fritz, Tammy Gregory, Tracy Warner, Steve Bell, Tristan Yakle. Numerous Aunts and Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and In-Laws. Funeral Services will be held at the Evangelical Free Church in McCook on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Bruce Lester officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery of McCook. Memorials may be left in Ann's name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel. Visitation
