Angulia 'Angie' Y. Keller

Angulia Yvonne Keller of Trenton, NE passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Community Hospital in McCook, NE. She was born in Hayes County, NE on July 25, 1934 to James K. and Mabel (Mulford) Thompson. Angulia graduated from Trenton High School in 1951. On October 7, 1951, Angulia was united in marriage to Donald L. Keller. Angie and Don farmed together and raised their children, Nick and Mary Lynn, on a farm southwest of Trenton. Angie was a long-time member of the Church of God in Trenton. She was active in her church teaching Sunday school, chairman of the Benevolence Committee, and many other jobs. She was the founding member of the TCDC and supported it until her death. She also volunteered at the Massacre Canyon Visitors Center from its inception. Angie was a member of the Trenton American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid bridge player and in her younger days active in several extension clubs. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dolly and Patricia; and one brother, Bill Thompson. Angie is survived by her husband Donald of Trenton; her children, Nick Keller of Trenton and Mary and husband, Bill Kennedy, of Eagle, CO; grandson, Jacob Keller of Rock Rapids, IA; and sister, Twila Woods of Bartley, NE. Memorials may be left In Angies name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Home in Trenton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 10:00 AM till 7:00 PM at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in Trenton. Friends may leave on-line condolences at herrmannfh.com. A private family interment will be held. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Church of God in Trenton with Pastor Jason Smith and Johnny Walker officiating.
