Alice Louise Yost

Alice L. Yost age 62 of McCook, passed away at the Great Plaines Health Facility in North Platte, NE on March 29, 2018. She was born in Casper, WY on May 3, 1955 to Robert an Harriet (Blair) Jamieson. She attended school in Douglas, WY graduating from Converse County High School in 1973. On September 9, 1974 she was united in marriage to Robert Yost. The couple made their home in Douglas, WY before moving to McCook in January 6, 1979. Alice was employed in the laundry and as a housekeeper for the Hilcrest Nursing Home for 19 years and at the Community Hospital of McCook for 11 years. Alice loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading the Bible, Christian books by Karen Kingsbury, handy work as crocheting, embroidery. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of McCook. She would make trips to Wyoming to visit family. In early years she would go camping with the family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law: Dennis Perkinson and a sister-in-law: Mary Jamieson. Alice is survived by her husband: Robert Yost of McCook; 2 daughters: Amanda husband Jon Keneipp of Imperial; Misty and Michael Muehlhausen of McCook; 3 grandchildren: Izabella, Nathaniel; Quinton; sister: June Perkinson of St. Joseph, MO; brother: Harold Jamieson of Douglas, WY and special friend: Tony Murawski of McCook. Alice chose cremation and will have a Celebration of Life at a future date. Memorials may be left in her name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel.
