Alberta Marie Hannah

Alberta Marie Hannah passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at her home in Cambridge after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.She was 66 years old.

Alberta was born on February 22, 1952 at St. Elmo, Illinois to parents William Bryan and Betty Louise (Scoles) Kruger.She was one of six children born to this union.

On October 16, 1971 Alberta was united in marriage to William Dean (Bill) Hannah at Casey, Ill.This union was blessed with four children.Alberta was a busy homemaker and mother, however, she still found time to work as a CNA at Cambridge Manor.She loved cooking for her family, spending time in the yard, and crocheting.She cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren as well as attending their many activities.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Betty Hyde; grandson, Sean Michael Allen; and brother, Albert "Bud" Kruger.

Left to mourn her passing is husband, Bill Hannah of Cambridge; father, William Kruger and step-mother, Betty, of Cambridge; two daughters, Tina Morris of Bartley and Tanya and husband, Greg Kapustka, of Cambridge; two sons, Shane Hannah and wife, Diane, of Cambridge and William Hannah and wife, Mayra, of Sahuarita, AZ; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Betty "Tootie" Denton of Wilsonville, Cindy Knifely of Montrose, AR, Annette and husband, Bill Newcomb, of Omaha, and Patti and husband, Shawn Adler, of Cambridge; three brothers, William Joe Kruger and wife, Pam, of Cambridge, Gary Kruger and wife, Jaima, of North Platte and Ron Kruger and wife, Linda, of McCook; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Memorials may be given in her name.

Memorial services will be Thursday, March 15, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Lockenour Jones Mortuary in Cambridge with Jim Jones officiating.Inurnment will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
