Adam Craig Potth

Adam Craig Potthoff age 30, formerly of McCook, NE passed away at Lincoln, NE on June 29, 2015. He was born in Loveland, Co to Darrel and Joyce (O'Dea) Potthoff. Adam 's family moved toMcCook where he graduated fromMcCook High School and later the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Adam loved hunting and fishing back home in McCook. He has just renewed his hunting and fishing license for 2015. He Loved spending time on his days off in his newly purchased home in Lincoln doing home and yard improvements. Tennis was number one passion and recently started teaching tennis again for a part time job. Adam played high school and college tennis and was state tennis champion for McCook High school. While playing College Tennis adam made it to the national tournament while at Scottsdale Community College. He loved going to Nebraska Sporting events with his family and friends including Husker basketball/football, and baseball games. He loved going to concerts and movies with friends Surviving family Darrel and Joyce Potthoff of Lincoln formerly McCook his brother Bradford and sister in law Kathryn Potthoff of Highlands Ranch, Colorado.. Grandmother Elvira Potthoff of McCook and grandparents Gordon and Marilyn Bohl of Arvada Colorado. aunts and uncles: Steve & Dawn O'Dea of McCook, Andy & Lori O'Dea of McCook, Beth O'Dea of McCook, Sandra Potthoff of Stuart FL, and Craig & Peggy Meader of Waverly KS Adam was preceded in death by (Great Grandmother Helen Meyers, cousin Nicholas ODea, Grandfather Lloyd Potthoff, and Uncle Stephen Potthoff. Funeral services will be held at the Memorial United Methodist Church inMcCook on Friday, July 3, at 10:00 AM with Rev Jerry Beckenhour. Visitation will be held at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel inMcCook, NE on Thursday from 10:00 AM till 8:00 PM Friends may leave on line condolences at herrmannfh.com.
